Building safety tips

【Every “typhoon” leaves a trace】

Marks will be left somehow after a typhoon strikes; therefore, building owners, property management companies and registered contractors are reminded to take precautionary measures, as well as post-typhoon follow-up.  If there is damage on curtain walls or glass walls, please appoint prescribed building professionals and prescribed registered contractors to carry out repair works as set out in Minor Works Item 1.61.

Furthermore, registered contractors should inspect all areas of their construction sites, and carry out necessary remedial works immediately if damage is found.  Before the resumption of the construction works, they should make sure that the sites are in a safe condition.
