【The latest upgrade from #AhBuildAndAhDing – Procedures for fast track acceptance of completion of demolition works】

Hey hey hey, Ah Build and Ah Ding have new enhancement measures to announce~ To speed up the development process, the Buildings Department (BD) has introduced procedures for fast track acceptance of completion of demolition works.  Highlights of the enhancement measures are as follows:

1.  BD takes into account the different complexity of demolition works, and advises fast track acceptance of completion of demolition works which satisfy the criteria in the revised “Practice Note for Authorized Persons, Registered Structural Engineers and Registered Geotechnical Engineers” (“PNAP”) APP-21.

2.  Authorized persons and registered structural engineers who wish to take benefit of fast track acceptance should submit the following documents upon completion of the demolition works:

(a)       the new designated Form BA14B (certifying, among others, that the completed demolition works have fully satisfied the criteria in the revised “PNAP” APP-21);

(b)       colour record photos (showing the general views of the site, the adjacent land or streets and all elevations of the adjoining buildings); and

(c)       a mark-up plan indicating the direction of the above photos taken.
