【Are all additions unauthorised building works?】

After our warning about putting unauthorised building works (UBWs) in village houses in the previous post, many village house residents would like to know whether all additions to the village houses are considered UBWs.  Well, not really.  The Buildings Department allows 20 types of green and amenity facilities to be installed in new and existing village houses, such as solar panels and retractable canvas hood, as long as the size and procedures comply with the requirements.  Isn’t this amazing?
