Building safety tips

【#Buildings’ Thingies Ain’t No Easy-Peasy The Ultimate Guide to being a Responsible Owner】

Ah Build is starting to grasp the ins and outs of home ownership from The Ultimate Guide to being a Responsible Owner.  He has learnt that owners are responsible for the repair and maintenance for both the internal and external parts of a building.

There are two parts of internal maintenance: that of your own flat and that of the common parts of the building, such as staircases, corridors, etc.

External maintenance refers to the exterior of the building, including external walls, yards, rooftops, flat roofs, etc. Owners have the responsibility to arrange timely repair and maintenance for the internal and external parts of the building.  Please also be reminded not to put any unauthorised building works in the building for your own convenience!
