The Building Safety Pioneer Programme (BSPP) Inauguration Ceremony was successfully held on 15 July at the Hong Kong Science Museum (HKSM) to recognise the efforts of the 2016-17 Building Safety Pioneers (BSPs) and welcome the new batch of BSPs.

We have invited representatives from The Hong Kong Institute of Architects, The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors to share their valuable experience with the BSPs. The ceremony was also celebrated by the musical performance of the B and D Band formed by our colleagues. At the end of the ceremony, the BSPs enjoyed the privilege to join a guided tour arranged by the HKSM to visit the Environmental Conservation Gallery.

In addition to sharing their experience over the past year, the 2016-17 BSPs handed over the BSPP flag to the new batch of BSPs, symbolising that the new BSPs have taken over the mission of promoting building safety. The ceremony ended in an array of music and joy.
