Following the success of the Building Safety Comic Drawing Competition 2013 organized by the Buildings Department, co-organised by HKedCity and supported by the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art (HKSEA), the Building Safety Comic Drawing Competition 2014 will be held from March to May this year.

The competition is divided into three sections, including Upper Primary School (P.4 to P.6), Junior Secondary School (F.1 to F.3) and Senior Secondary School (F.4 to F.6). All entries will focus on the four main 'Building Safety' concepts (Structural Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental Hygiene and Public Safety). By participating in the competition, students will have a better understanding on the close relationship between building safety and their daily life, in order to foster a sense of awareness and responsibility towards their living environment. Awards for each section include a Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, 10 Merit Awards, the Most Supportive School Award and the Most Popular Award (Online voting). All primary and secondary students in Hong Kong are welcomed to join.
