Terms and Conditions
· Participants are required to complete the online registration for Building Safety Symposium. (the “Event”) before the deadline.
· Each person is only allowed to register once.
· Repeated registration will be cancelled without prior notice.
· As quotas are limited, Buildings Department ("BD") reserves the right to determine the acceptance of the registration.
· Participants agree that BD is not responsible for any delayed, lost, consequential damages of submitted information arising out of the use of the computer, website, internet, telecommunication or technical problem. All data collected by the server of BD serves as final.
· Any changes or contingency measures for the Event announced by BD and/or posted on the official Facebook page shall prevail.
· BD reserves the right to cancel or prolong the Event and to amend the Terms and Conditions of this Event at any time without prior notice. All interpretations of these Terms and Conditions shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of BD, and in case of any dispute, the decision of BD shall be final.
Typhoon and Rainstorm Warning Arrangements
The Event will be cancelled when the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the black rainstorm signal is issued 3 hours before its commencement.
